Third-Party Laboratory Services by Yanguas Professional

The third-party laboratory services by Yanguas Professional cover the complete cosmetic cycle: technical feasibility, custom formulation, creativity and packaging, manufacturing in our own plant, physical-microbiological quality controls, and European regulatory registration (CPNP). A single technological partner replaces multiple suppliers.
The Seven Phases of the Third-Party Manufacturing Service
The process starts with the project definition and a technical feasibility study that determines if the desired formula is feasible with the available raw materials and technology. Only then does the development of the formula itself begin.
The phases follow in this order:
- Project definition and technical feasibility study.
- Custom formulation until the validation of final formulas, including stability and efficacy tests.
- Creativity: packaging design and copywriting for commercial texts.
- Personalized quote before committing to production.
- Manufacturing and packaging in our own plant, with raw material selection, mixing in reactors, filling, and final labeling.
- Quality analysis: physical-microbiological controls prior to the release of each batch.
- Regulatory registration according to European standards (CPNP).
By controlling 100% of the cycle at its facilities in Tudela, Yanguas acts as a direct manufacturer, not as an intermediary that subcontracts any of these stages.
💡 Technical tip: Finalizing the packaging and commercial texts before starting production avoids late reformulations. The creativity step (phase 3) and the quote (phase 4) exist precisely to set all parameters before committing raw materials and reactor time.
What Quality Controls Are Performed Before Releasing a Batch?
Each batch undergoes a protocol of mandatory physical-microbiological controls before leaving the plant. Only batches that pass these tests are released, ensuring the product delivers the same safety and efficacy in every unit.
Yanguas' quality system is certified under two international standards:
- Standard
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
- Standard
- ISO 22716 (Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics / GMP)
- Controls
- physical-microbiological per batch, prior to release
- Traceability
- complete in all phases of the cycle
The ISO 22716 certification is the international reference standard for Good Manufacturing Practices in cosmetics, and its compliance is part of the technical file required by the European Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Regulatory Management Included in the Service
Marketing a cosmetic in Europe requires compliance with Regulation (EC) 1223/2009, which establishes safety, labeling, and technical documentation requirements for every product before it is placed on the market. Yanguas assumes this technical and regulatory responsibility as part of the service.
The central procedure is the registration in the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP), the mandatory European system where the formula and labeling are registered before commercialization. The laboratory handles this registration on behalf of the client, so the brand can operate legally in any country of the European single market without having to manage the regulatory bureaucracy on its own.
The result is a complete technical data sheet and a regulatory file ready for audit from the first batch, included in the same third-party manufacturing service.
With this scope, from the first project meeting to the delivery of the registered product ready for sale, Yanguas Professional manages every stage without ceding control to any third party: the contact person is always the same laboratory that manufactures.
