Yanguas Renews Its ISO 9001 Certification Through 2029
Cosméticos Yanguas has renewed its ISO 9001:2015 certification with TÜV Rheinland, valid from 25 September 2026 to 2 July 2029. The certificate covers the design, manufacture and marketing of its entire professional cosmetics range, and renews a quality management system first certified in 2017.
What the Certificate Covers
The certificate scope is the first thing worth reading, because it defines which part of the company was audited. Here it is not limited to one line or to the plant: it includes product design, manufacture and marketing.

The lines included are coloring, hair care, styling, and hygiene and body and facial care, all sold exclusively through hair salons and specialized stores in the sector. Having design inside the scope means formula development also runs under the audited system, not just production.
What Does ISO 9001 Guarantee a Salon?
ISO 9001:2015 sets out the requirements for a quality management system: the way a company shows that it consistently delivers products that meet what the customer asks for and what regulation requires.
It is not a product seal and it does not certify any particular formula. It certifies how the company works, and that shows in the salon's day-to-day:
- The color or treatment you order today performs the same as the one in your previous order.
- Every batch is traceable, so an issue can be tracked back to its source.
- Complaints follow a defined process, with the cause analysed and corrective action taken.
- The company is required to review its processes and improve them continually.
A Renewal Audits the Whole System Again
An ISO 9001 certificate is not obtained once and kept. Certification bodies work to ISO/IEC 17021-1, which organizes certification in three-year cycles: surveillance audits at least once a year and, at the end of the cycle, a re-certification audit that reviews the complete system again.
Yanguas passed that re-certification audit on 25 June 2026. Until 2029, TÜV Rheinland will keep checking every year that the system is maintained, and the certificate only stays valid while those audits are passed.
What Changes With the New ISO 9001:2026?
ISO published the 2026 edition of the standard in September 2026. The new version keeps the structure of the previous one and strengthens areas such as leadership, quality culture and the management of risks and opportunities.
Its publication does not invalidate current certificates. Companies certified to the 2015 version have a transition period to adapt their system to the new edition, so the Yanguas certificate remains valid and the adaptation will be handled within that window.
